Do I need a ticket for this event?

No. This is a FREE event, and you can show up on the day.

Where is the event being held?

King George V playing fields.

What time does it start?

8.30am.

What is the best way to get there?

If you live in town, we advise you walk to the event, if at all possible.

Is there a park and ride service?

Yes. FREE buses will be running every five minutes from 7am – 5.30pm.  Drop-off and pick-up points are King George V playing fields (from Rotherwas), and Shire Hall (from Hereford Racecourse).

Where do I park?

Town car parks are operating as normal, except St Martins Street and Wye Street car parks, which are for authorised vehicles only.

Is there disabled access?

Disabled parking (with a valid blue badge) is available in Wye Street Car Park. There will also be a limited number of disabled parking spaces available on the playing field itself. Powered scooters and wheelchairs will also be available for hire. They can be pre-booked from the event mobility company via www.eventmobility.org.uk or by ringing 01386 725391.

Can I bring my dog?

We recommend that dogs be left at home due to the large crowds expected.

Will there be public conveniences on site, including disabled facilities?

Temporary toilets will be on site, including disabled toilets.

Will there be food?

There will be a number of refreshment tents and food stalls.

Do I need to avoid the city centre due to traffic disruptions?

We expect high volumes of traffic and advise walking or using public transport where possible, and the park and ride service. Drivers are advised to travel early and use alternative routes to the shops or work, where possible.

Will we be able to see the Queen?

Can we bring a picnic?

Yes. However, no fires or barbeques are allowed.
